The DC Coalition Against Domestic Violence (The Coalition, DCCADV) is the federally recognized statewide coalition of domestic violence programs and individuals organized to ensure the elimination of domestic violence in the District of Columbia. Since its founding in 1986, the Coalition has led policy and systems advocacy, training, technical assistance, and community awareness and outreach programs to address the epidemic of dating violence, domestic violence, and stalking (collectively referred to as DV) in the District. Our mission is to build a community where domestic violence is replaced with human dignity. We work in service of survivors of DV in DC and the dedicated service providers that serve them. Our membership consists of 19 direct-service organizations, and collectively, we serve thousands of survivors of DV every year.
